I woke up this morning in my hotel room, got ready for work and went down to the main lobby for my morning coffee and a quick breakfast, before I headed out to work. All the business people were up and doing the same thing as me. I waited in the coffee line and just as it was about to be my turn, this “man”, and I use the that term very loosely, bogarts in front of me for creamers, sugars and such for HIS coffee. I look at him in amazement. Doesn’t he know that he shouldn’t mess with a woman that has a) just risen from bed, b) has NOT had her morning coffee, c) is rushing to get to work on time and d) HAS NOT HAD HER MORNING COFFEE!!!! Oh wait, I said that already. Anyhooooo, I say to him, “You’re just gonna bogart ahead of me? Wow!” He turns and says to me ” I was next”. He clearly wasn’t! I say to him “You know what, no problem. YOU have a great day”!
So here lies my question….”Where the (insert beep) have all the Gentlemen gone”? Gone with the wind, Breakfast at Tiffaney’s, Casablanca? What is really going on?
