Life is so interesting.  It never really IS what you think it is going to be.  I fell for the “wrong one”.  You know him.  You hate him in the beginning, but really, that hate is kind of an attraction.  He’s your polar opposite.  You don’t agree on anything.  He flakes on you often, but when he does show up, you get butterflies in your stomach, you feel a bit nervous and insecure and you have a great time when you are out on the town.

He does everything you love.  He opens doors, he pulls out chairs, he walks on the curbside, he laughs at your jokes and when you do one of your quirky things, he smiles at you with his eyes.  So, you forget about all the things he doesn’t do, until, he doesn’t call again, he flakes again, he breaks your heart again…and then, the cycle begins again.

Single girls, why do we fall for him?  Why do we stay with him? We hope he will change.  We know he will change.  We talk to our other single girl friends and they assure us that it’s definitely him.  He’s the one in the wrong.  He has something wrong with him.  He is treating you wrong.  The fact is he’s NOT the one.  It takes a while to really admit that because you want him to be THE ONE, but, he’s NOT!

Really, if he was THE ONE, then guess what?  He would make time for you.  He would be thinking about you. It wouldn’t be so HARD.  Now, don’t get me wrong, relationships are work…but if the “dating” part is work, let him go. He won’t return and you shouldn’t want him to.  While you are spending time waiting for him to call or waiting for him to show up, you are missing out on your LIFE!
